Website design for Luminous Skin Medical Spa in Orlando, FL.
Project Overview
Luminous Skin Medical Spa is a recently opened med spa serving the surrounding Orlando FL. area. However, without a website, the business was having a difficult time displaying their available services and appointments, which therefore diverted potential customers from connecting with the spa.
To overcome these problems, I sought to create an elegant, user-friendly website that reflects the spa’s commitment to providing relaxing and rejuvenating services.
Design Goals
In conjunction with the business, I determined my design as creating an aesthetically-pleasing web presence that resonates with the spa’s target audience, while maintaining a simple and understandable structure that invites users to explore the spa’s services and ultimately book an appointment.
User Experience
Because a positive user experience is key to maintaining a strong and attractive web presence, I conducted research to understand the needs and preferences of spa visitors. I also collaborated with the spa’s owner to improve my understanding of the needs and perspective of the business.
Considering this research, I structured the website’s architecture in a user-friendly manner, ensuring intuitive navigation and easy access to key information.
I also sought to implement responsive design principles to ensure that users can seamlessly navigate throughout the website, regardless of what device they use
Project Outcomes
The Luminous Skin MedSpa website has received exceptional feedback from both the business owner and spa clientele. The website’s refined design and user-friendly interface have contributed to an increase in appointment bookings and customer inquiries. The project’s success highlights my ability to deliver exceptional web and UX design solutions tailored to a client’s needs.
Key Learnings
This project provided me the opportunity to work directly with a client to create a product that best reflects their businesses goals and priorities. Specifically, this project encouraged me to work within specific design constraints to use provided resources to create a unique and visually-pleasing presentation.
Working on this project has allowed me to hone my skills in crafting aesthetically-pleasing designs while prioritizing user experience and accessibility.
